Remote Working/Virtual Internships

Our students, from all courses and year groups, will be available to work for your organisations remotely, either on short-term projects or full time employment. Students are available from June for full time roles. Remote Working will prove more popular given the COVID-19 situation, but is not unusual at other times in certain sectors as it allows employers to access to a wide talent pool extending far beyond their usual catchment area.

You can add these paid opportunities to this jobs portal as with any other role, simply by registering your organisation and uploading the vacancy and application details.

When uploading a job please add: 'Remote Working Opportunity' before the Job Title.

These internships can last between 4 and 20 weeks, and typical examples include:

  • Developing communications or marketing materials.
  • Research to scope the viability of a project.
  • Delivery of a short term project.
  • Developing communications or marketing materials.
  • Management of social media campaigns.
  • Designing websites.
  • Writing training material.
  • Event organisation.

Benefits to students:

  • Develop employability skills and attributes.
  • Increased confidence and resilience.
  • Help defining their career path.
  • Improved graduate employability.
  • Improved accessibility and flexibility – due to finance, travel or other constraints being removed.
