The following Terms and Conditions apply to all BU online jobs/careers fairs:

Student & Graduate Jobs Fairs - held each October and March/April.
Nursing, Health & Social Sciences Careers Fair - held November each year.



  • Bookings will not be guaranteed until a Booking Form has been received by the Careers & Employability Service, and we reply with a booking confirmation. 
  • Careers & Employability Service staff will determine the suitability of each organisation's request to participate in BU's Careers Fairs.

Cancellation Policy:

  • If for any reason the Careers & Employability Service cancels all or any part of the Fair, their liability shall be limited to the refund of any payments made by the exhibitor to the Careers & Employability Service. 
  • If you need to cancel your booking for any reason then please notify us immediately by email.

Code of Conduct:

  • No exhibitor may take or receive any monies whether by cheque, cash or credit card. 
  • No exhibitor may share anything considered to be off-topic, offensive, abusive or illegal.
  • The University is dedicated to providing a harassment-free exhibition experience for everyone, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, religion and origin. We will not tolerate the harassment of exhibition participants in any way, or the use racist, sexist, homophobic or abusive terms including swear words or language that may cause offence.
  • Any personal information obtained at the event is solely for its stated purpose. It must not be passed on to any third party.

  • Only charities and non-profit organisations may use these fairs to recruit to non-paying roles.
    All others will be recruiting to paid opportunities.

Anyone violating this Code of Conduct may be removed from the fair at the discretion of the event organiser.
